Shekinah's Race

Hi, My name is Mischelle Hardwick. Donal Marsh and I are on a mission to help a young lady named Shekinah Littleton. Let's just say Donal Marsh will be the legs of the race, and I will be the cheerleader. Our goal is for people to pledge money for every mile that Donal runs in December to go towards expenses that the Littleton family will need to care for Shekinah. Donal is promising to run 100 miles in December. Not only would we love pledges, but flat donations are also welcome. We will return to how we know this family in a little while. We want to focus on Shekinah's story and her journey.

Little Miss Shekinah is an energetic, spunky, enthusiastic four-year-old currently in remission from Leukemia. She was diagnosed in March of 2022. Since that time, she has been hospitalized and undergone treatment. Her parents, Sam and Melissa, have stood firm in their faith as they prayed for a miracle for their child. Here is a little something from her Mom and Dad to tell us about their precious little gift:

The older Shekinah gets, the more she acts likes someone’s little mother. LOL, I CAN’T!!! ‍♀️

But, I guess we should be ok with her wanting to make sure everyone is ok and taken care of. Many times, during prayer, Shekinah is praying for other children in the hospital. Her confidence and personality definitely brightens a room.

LoL, And don’t let us get started with her animated voice. She has "thee" cutest squeakiest voice. Many of our friends have encouraged us to have her do voice-overs. Prayerfully we can get that ball rolling soon.

Nevertheless, this little Princess Warrior is truly amazing and she has a STRONG story to tell. The Lord did not tell us to name her Shekinah for no reason.

*Shekinah is the English transliteration of a Hebrew word meaning "dwelling" or "settling" and indicates the presence of God, as in a place.

This is FOR THE GLORY OF OUR LORD!!! This is not just a story of healing but a story of a Miracle! The Lord is just building an audience. And Only GOD will get credit for this one.
