The Shekhinah Clinic for the Poor and Destitute in Tamale, Ghana provides free, lifesaving care every day to those with no other options. We serve people experiencing homelessness, extreme poverty, mental illness, and terminal disease—purely for the love of God and neighbour.
Each week, our dedicated team sees up to 350 patients, offering:
- Free medical consultations, medications, and minor surgeries
- A food program and housing support for the destitute
- Care for the mentally ill and those living with HIV/AIDS
Shekhinah Clinic also relies on the generosity of volunteer physicians, including Dr. Erle Kirby, a Canadian doctor who has provided free hernia surgeries here for over 20 years.
We provide medications completely free to 30+ patients a day, but clinic shelves are running low. We also urgently need funds for:
- Medications and medical supplies
- Food and hygiene support for inpatients
- Basic operational costs to keep services free
With your support, we can continue offering compassionate, dignified care at no cost to those who would otherwise go without.
Every dollar counts. Every donation changes a life.
