Please Help My Mother Walk

Anyone who has met Sheila Riordan has instantly fallen in love. Her kindness, unconditional love, and fighting spirit are only a few of her amazing, inspiring qualities.
In 1981, Sheila was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This disease, at times, has left Sheila without eyesight and has limited her daily ability to walk.
A little over a year ago Sheila learned of a new medical device designed to help people with certain neurological conditions walk. Sheila pursued and tested the L300 Plus; it worked! Sheila could successfully walk again! After being fitted for the device, Sheila eagerly awaited insurance approval from Medicare and MassHealth Unfortunately, neither insurance company will cover this essential medical device and help improve Sheila’s quality of life. At a cost of about $11,000.00 Sheila’s dream of walking again had been quickly shattered. Sheila’s three sons sprang into action and started thinking of alternative ways to pay for the device. After asking around and gaining advice and insight from others, they decided to try GoFundMe.
Please help the Riordan’s give their mother the ability to walk again.
