My husband, Zachary Vinson, is a proud veteran who served our country in the United States Marine Corps. Now we are fighting a new battle, one for the chance to build our family together.

Hi, we are Sheila and Zachary Vinson. We met in the summer of 2020 and got married in September of 2021. We're reaching out with open hearts to share a deeply personal journey and ask for your support financially in helping us grow our family through IVF. For the past 4 years, we've dreamed of becoming parents through good and bad times. We've imagined late-night feedings, first steps, bedtime stories, and all the small, beautiful, and crazy moments of raising a child together. But life had other plans, and our path to parenthood has been filled with heartbreak, doctor visits, loss, and more questions than answers.

We have done 3 rounds of IUIs, one being successful but unfortunately ending in a loss, and the other two failed, along with numerous medicated rounds with Clomid/Letrozole and Follistim. After countless tests, emotional ups and downs, and trying every option available to us, we've been told in vitro fertilization (IVF) is our best chance at having a child. While we are so grateful that this option exists, the cost is very overwhelming. IVF can cost upwards of $15,000-$30,000 per cycle, and most of it is not even covered by insurance.

We are doing everything we can to make this dream a reality, but we are humbly asking for help from our community, family, friends, and kind strangers who understand how much this means to us. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards medical treatments, medication, and clinic expenses. We are going to Colorado Springs to be able to do IVF; it's $6,795, which is our GOAL, compared to $30,000 here in Lubbock, TX, where we live.

This isn't an easy story to share. Infertility can feel isolating and invisible, but we've learned that there is so much strength in vulnerability, and love and support from others can make a world of difference.
