Salam Alaykum, my name is Rokhiya. I am starting this campaign for my friend Iman who currently lives in North Gaza. This is a message from Eman: “I need your help to reach Egypt, where my mother evacuated for treatment. We are a family of 2 adults ($5000 each) and 5 children ($2500 each) for a total of $22,500."

We are in North Gaza where resources for life are scares. The electricity and gas have been off since the beginning of the genocide. We are suffering every day from death, displacement, and extreme hunger. Water and sewage are contaminated. There is no safe area in the strip. The houses are destroyed and the streets are demolished. Shelters for women and the displaced are destroyed. We also live in a life full of diseases due to the lack of hygiene. There are cleaning products but at exorbitant prices. Food prices have finally become decent. Additionally, there are no treatments for the patients; even for the simplest diseases, there is no cure.

I am a senior in high school who was deprived of the joy of graduation. I lost a year of my education and my life because of the genocide. We miss our mother very much. She is very sick in Egypt and really needs to see us—my father, my siblings, and me. I hope that you can help us."

Any funds collected from this campaign will go directly towards Iman and her family's evacuation, their basic needs including, food, water, and shelter as well as transportation as needed for displacement.
