Hi my name is Rayann Denlinger, I am starting this fundraiser in support of my very good friend and her daughter. As some of you know my good friend Mary Compton went to be with Jesus on Christmas Eve just days after her 63rd birthday. She fought cancer like a warrior for over two years. She left behind many who loved her very much, including her 19 year old daughter. My goal with this fundraiser is to help support her daughter as she goes out into this world without her mother. Mary was a single mom who worked extremely hard for her family. She had a kind heart and would go above and beyond for others. At 19 it’s tough to lose your only parent, your best friend, your everything. I promised Mary I would stay close and I’ll do just that. Mary was trying hard to get a reliable vehicle for her daughter to drive. My goal is to get her that vehicle and then some. I’d like her to feel financially secure as her whole life has changed in an instant and she is still a student trying to navigate life. There is so much unknown right now, but I think we could come together and give some financial peace. I am starting this fundraiser to cover costs of living, a new/used vehicle, and the funeral/memorial service. Celebration of Life will be Monday January 2nd at Trinity Lutheran Church in Tinley Park 6850 w 159th St. The service is at 12pm, visitation starts at 10:30am.
