The University of Sheffield Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society is raising money for our chosen charity of the year - Sheffield Women's Aid!

Sheffield Women's Aid is an incredible charity that provides vital support to women and children fleeing domestic abuse.

Sheffield Women's Aid offers much more than a place of refuge. They provide safe accommodation, counselling, practical and emotional support, assistance with housing and employment, help accessing welfare benefits, and guidance to rebuild lives with independence.

For many women, leaving an abusive relationship is only the first step of their journey. Every donation helps Sheffield Women's Aid continue providing the essential services that empower women and their children to move forward safely and confidently.

This year, Sheffield's OBGYN Society will be supporting SWA, through fundraisers, donations, and volunteering. Keep an eye out for our events on our instagram @sheffieldobgynsoc.
