We are Sheffield Dragons, a passionate Martial Arts club based in Handsworth, Sheffield. Home to an incredibly dedicated Competition Team, we welcome young athletes aged 5 and up who train hard, compete fiercely, and thrive on the values of discipline, respect, and perseverance.
Right now, we're raising vital funds to help our amazing team represent the UK at the prestigious World Championships in Italy this October 2025.
Our competitors train and compete across the country, and all expenses are currently self-funded by their families. This financial strain can unfortunately limit opportunities for some of our talented athletes. We believe every member of our team deserves the chance to showcase their skills and spirit—especially on a world stage.
By supporting the Sheffield Dragons Competition Team, you're helping make that dream a reality. Your donation will directly contribute to:
- Competition entry fees – averaging £30 per category, with many athletes entering multiple categories (2–9 each).
- Team apparel – including training T-shirts and Karate Gi’s, fostering team pride and unity.
- Travel costs – covering essential expenses such as accommodation and fuel for competitions and flights
Every contribution, big or small, helps light the way for our young martial artists to pursue their passion and represent their community with pride.
