Sheena's APL Journey

Hi, this is Sherry, Kaleigh, and Kasey, Sheena's mother and sister's. Sheena is married to Jeff Gill, and they have 3 kids Preston (17), Baylee (13), and Christien (12). Sheena was diagnosed with Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), which is a blood cancer characterized by a marked increase in a type of white blood cells known as promyelocytes, a type of immature white blood cell. Sheena and Jeff are currently at a hospital in Houston, Texas, where she is getting treatment. That also means that neither of them can work at the moment, and are going to need help with medical costs, and just surviving because of a loss in income, due to this unexpected medical diagnosis. As we all know, providing for a family of 5, is already hard. Adding this to the mix, only makes financial matters worse.

We are just wanting to get this going to help any way that we can. They are going to need any help that they can get, as there is no telling how long this treatment and journey will last. We just lost our Dad in February and now receiving this news.
