As many of you know, my wife Meredith and I have gone through a lot over the past few years. Our journey to parenthood has not been a simple one.
In a two year time frame, we’ve endured as a family, four miscarriages; Meredith herself having to undergo two surgeries. We’ve climbed to emotional highs and hit emotional lows.
Through it all, we have placed our faith in Christ Jesus and answered each individual calling He has placed on our hearts.
It is in that spirit, we have committed to entering the adoption process.
We are believing with all our hearts that God will grant us this blessing of adoption and are simply asking for support. Any amount will help offset the heavy fees associated with the adoption.
However, this will not simply be a call to request donations.
To make it interesting, I am going to utilize my gift of running to help raise money along the way.
I’ll literally have skin in the game and you can enjoy journeying alongside our family as I put myself for 30 days of pain.
I am personally committing to a very heavy endurance challenge in the month of October.
Beginning Oct. 1, 2021, I’ll be running 30 consecutive half marathons in 30 days.
I ask you to consider making any level of contribution to help as we chase down this goal. I invite you to journey along with us and come out to join me for a run, whatever distance you prefer.
