Shedrach's Fight for Recovery Needs You

My name is John Reid. I'm an American living in West Texas, USA. Over the years, I have made many friends in Africa and other parts of the world through Facebook and the fact that I'm a bass-playing musician and a Christian.

Currently, one of my long-time friends, Shedrach Abraham, is in the hospital in Nigeria as the result of an accident he was in. He is a Christian young man of 20 years old. He was away from his home in Zaria, looking for work as a laborer when he was involved in a bad accident that put him in the hospital with serious head injuries. He is currently in ABUTH Zaria Hospital

This is a copy of the hospital bill. It started at around $6500 USD. A local pastor paid some of it. I've paid about $2000 myself so far.

I've been trying to pay for his care, but it's just too much for me to handle by myself at this time. Any help you can give us will be greatly appreciated as we work to get him well and back on his feet. In his family, he is their main means of support, so he's greatly needed at home.
