Hi! We're the Landrum Family and we have created this fund for one reason.....
▪️To purchase a shed for Charles to be able to continue his passion for wood working

Allow us to tell you Charles's story
Ten years ago, Charles lost his eyesight due to some serious medical conditions that developed and he, along with us, have been navigating life in a new way. He has always been good at working with his hands and his choice of hobbies and his passion became woodworking.
He moved into an upstairs apartment that had a balcony. This allowed him to convert the balcony into a temporary "workshop" so he could continue his dream of "creating" as a blind man and move forward in life with a hobby that he loves.
Woodworking began filling a void in his new life since becoming blind. He was doing fine in the apartment but the stairs had became a safety concern.
THE SAFTY CONCERN
▪️Charles had fallen due to the instability of the stairs. It was clear the navigational process for him was no longer safe. This is when the decision was made he needed to move.
Recently, with the help of friends, he was moved into a safe, single-family home. The safety issue had been eliminated!! However, his new home did not provide a place for him to continue woodworking.
️️️Let's pause here for a moment. It's time for YOU to watch a video.
You know.....get a clearer picture and feel of what we are trying to communicate to you. Roll it!

So, now you know a few more things about Charles. Talk about some changes in his world!
HEALTH ISSUES:
▪️He lost his sight
▪️Diagnosed with Lupus (but he's in remission)
▪️He lost about 80% of his hearing due to drug side effects
▪️Lupus killed his kidneys
THE GOOD NEWS :
▪️November 2020 he received a kidney transplant (Praise Jesus)
▪️He came off dialysis
▪️He is living life more fully than he has in the last 10 years!
REASONS FOR DONATING TO THE SHED:
▪️He has a limited income
▪️Keep the creative processes of his brain flowing and working which is essential for a blind person
▪️Allow him to continue working with his hands creating what you saw in the video....a really cool bird house and more
BENEFITS OF THE SHED: ❤❤❤
▪️People receive personal gifts for any event or holiday from him
▪️Children receive something special for Christmas that their parent(s) have
asked him to make
▪️His creations have been sold at church events
▪️He wants to expand and help others as much as he can
▪️He wants to give more because he has learned what it's like to receive
We want to "Thank You" for taking the time to read this and for whatever you can do! We appreciate your monetary support, and if you can't give, your prayers are appreciated and welcomed.
Sincerely!
Bob, Jane, Rob, Jamie, Samantha, Brooke, Dawn, Mackenzie, Bethany, Savannah, and last, but not least, Charles
