My name is Gregg Edward Perrie, and I’m producing and directing a documentary that exposes the devastating consequences of the current administration’s decision to withdraw support from USAID. This policy shift has triggered a global humanitarian crisis—according to UN experts, over 350,000 lives have been lost since January, including more than 200,000 children. These are preventable deaths, and yet the story remains largely absent from mainstream discourse.

Our film, From the American People: The Withdrawal of USAID, seeks to bring this crisis to light. Through firsthand accounts, expert interviews, and investigative reporting, we aim to educate the public, hold leadership accountable, and reignite national dialogue around America’s role in global humanitarian aid.
