Shea's Devastating Truck Fire
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I was driving up Cross Rd, Kelowna on Monday, Nov 7th, during that ridiculous snowstorm when I saw a truck perched on the edge of a deep ditch, nose down. Smoke was coming out of the hood when suddenly, the undercarriage lit up with flames. Shea made it out just before his engine blew up. We spent the next two hours in my car, watching his entire livelihood burn up. During our time together, I discovered Shea's truck was his office. He was a delivery driver, owned a small Seadoo/boat rental (Shakers Boat Rentals), and used his truck for hauling. I was amazed at how calm he was as he watched everything burn. When the police arrived, he not only realized his wallet was still in the truck but learned that his tags had expired a couple of days previously - and that he didn't have coverage. My heart just broke for him. I have made that same awful mistake, but fortunately, my car didn't explode in flames. So, I thought if some of you could relate, we could all come together and throw in a few dollars to help Shea find a new truck. Hopefully, we can get him back on the road sooner than later. Thank you for any donations you can make.
