Shea Family House Fire Recovery
Donation protected
**Update: We just about met our initial goal because of all of your kindness and generosity. I am raising the goal in case folks would still like to donate, as I'm sure the family will be able to use it as they put their lives back together. I saw Clair and Ryan last night, and they both asked me to thank all of you from the bottom of their hearts.**
I woke up on December 8 to a text from my best friend, Clair Shea, that she had come home from picking up the kids at daycare to several firetrucks at her house and smoke pouring out everywhere.
Their home is uninhabitable.
Fortunately, Clair, Ryan, Addie, Sam, and the kids' uncle Justin are all safe, and they have family to stay with. That's the most important thing.
I know insurance will help with most things, but I also know that takes a while, and right now, I hope we might be able to come together and help get their basic need met (clothes, meals, toiletries, diapers, formula, etc.) And then we're just a couple weeks away from Christmas, and I hope that we might be able to help them give their young kids a nice Christmas as well.
Anything you can find in your heart to share with them would be greatly appreciated. Clair is one of the kindest, most caring, wonderful people I have ever had the fortune to know, and my heart is hurting that this happened to her.
