Shea and Gabe's Fight for Baby Marlo
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
As many of you know, Shea and Gabe were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their little one, but their journey took an unexpected turn when their baby arrived prematurely at just 29 weeks. Although their tiny fighter is strong and fighting every day, the road ahead is uncertain, and the financial burden of medical bills, special care needs, and extended hospital stays are beginning to weigh heavily on them. Shea and Gabe are both out of work almost 3 months earlier than expected, and their little guy is likely going to be in Fargo until the end of May. This exhausts all leave possible for mom and dad, with little home bonding time left for them when Marlo is ready to go home.
We are reaching out to ask for your support during this incredibly challenging time. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward helping cover the expenses and provide some relief to this amazing family as they focus on what matters most: their baby’s health and well-being. If you're unable to contribute financially, simply sharing this page with others will also go a long way.
If you would prefer to send a Venmo,
Shea’s Venmo is @Shea-Wolff
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support. Let’s come together to show Shea and Gabe that they are not alone in this fight.
With gratitude,
Kyla (Friend of the family)
Here is a little update from Mom & Dad:
Baby Marlo came into the world 11 weeks early on Wednesday March 12th, at 4:59am, surprising everyone, including his mom and dad! After a routine ultrasound in February showed baby had dropped to the 1% for growth, he was diagnosed with severe intrauterine growth restriction caused by absent diastolic blood flow in the placenta. With close monitoring, we were hoping to make it further along, but after reversed diastolic flow was seen and baby began showing signs of distress, it was decided an emergency c section at 29 weeks was the safest route to ensure baby made his way into the world safely. Both mom and baby Marlo are doing well in their recovery so far!
