Recently, Gayle went to work and was blindsided when she was fired by Cedar Mountain Schools after her FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) coverage ended — despite her ongoing battle with cancer. After dedicating more than three decades to this district, she suddenly finds herself without income.
