Help Support Izetta Klein Through Her Cancer Treatment

Just a week or two ago, Izetta was at the theater cheering on her students, on the sidelines supporting AMHS teams, and dancing with friends at Zumba. This cancer diagnosis is likely as much of a surprise to you as it has been to her and our family.

After discovering an abdominal mass and a sudden trip to the emergency room, Izetta was diagnosed with liposarcoma, a rare and aggressive soft tissue cancer. She has already begun an intensive inpatient chemotherapy treatment plan and has completed her first round.

At 51 years old, Izetta is the kind of person who lights up every room she enters — joyful, enthusiastic, compassionate, and endlessly welcoming. She gives so much of herself to others. She is a devoted wife to Patrick, a loving mom to 15-year-old twins Parker and Austin, and a self-employed vocal coach who has helped so many people find confidence and joy through singing.

Her doctors have told us she will need multiple rounds of chemotherapy over the coming months, and possibly surgery down the road. While we remain hopeful and deeply grateful for excellent medical care, this will not be a short process. Even in the best-case scenario, Izetta will need to focus fully on treatment and recovery for many months ahead.

As a self-employed small business owner, time in treatment means time away from work. Even with health insurance, Izetta will have significant out-of-pocket medical expenses. For our family, this means facing both mounting medical costs and a sudden loss of income during a critical time.

We are starting this fundraiser to help ease that burden and keep our family steady in the months ahead — so Izetta can direct her strength where it belongs: on healing and being present with the people she loves most.

Funds raised will help with:
• Medical bills and treatment-related expenses
• Lost income during chemotherapy and recovery
• Travel to appointments
• Everyday household expenses while she is unable to work

If you know Izetta, you know her love for her family, friends, music, theater, Zumba, and her community. She is strong-willed, genuine, and always the one lifting others up. Now we turn to that same community to lift her.

Every donation — no matter the size — makes a meaningful difference. And if you’re unable to give, sharing this page means more than you know.

If you have any questions please email Patrick directly or Izetta's care circle.

Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support as Izetta takes on this fight surrounded by love.

With gratitude,
