She spent her whole life helping others. Now it’s our turn.

Tiffany has had one hell of a year.

Actually, she has been fighting health issues, kidney failures, lupus, hospitalizations and much more for a VERY long time, but this year was especially taxing. You would never know it by talking to her, but she carries a lot on her shoulders.

At the start of the year her father died at home after recently finding out he had a brain tumor. Her mom has also been battling lupus.

You would never know the sh*tstorm of hardship that she has been through. She is always smiling, giggling, thinking of others, dedicating herself to her patients, and going to Haiti to build homes for families.

You would also never know those things either. She doesn’t do them to brag or look like a hero. She does it because she’s an amazing person.

She also has the darkest, sickest sense of humor and NO ONE can make me laugh like her. She has been someone that I can’t imagine not having in my life.

We first became friends a week after my dad died. I was 13. She came up to me and started talking to me and she instantly made me feel safe and that I could talk to her for hours.

I ended up talking to her for the rest of my life. She has been there for me in ways I can’t even describe. I wouldn’t even have my little jojo if it wasn’t for her. This is a friend you are LUCKY to have in your life, if even for a little while. I am beyond lucky to have Tiffany. I could go on forever…

4 years ago she finally found a match for her kidney and underwent a transplant. For once, things were looking up for Tiffany and maybe she could be able to live a normal, regular life.

Well, yesterday her doctors told her (during her shift at the hospital..) that her kidney transplant was more or less failed and she needs to start dialysis. This week.

I’ve seen my friend go through hell. She will be exhausted and depleted, and will not be able to get out of bed most days, nevermind work at the hospital. I’d like to try and give her back 1% of the support she has not only given to me but to everyone she meets.

The last thing she needs to worry about is paying bills, eating, and being able to exist, nevermind finding a kidney. I’m asking you to help if you can.

Also, consider getting tested to be a potential donor to this amazing person.

This message is from Tiffany’s mom and dad, before he had passed away:

Takes a second to share and you just might save a life ❤️

Our daughter Tiffany who is 37 years old and a nurse, blood type O NEGATIVE needs a kidney transplant because her kidneys are in failure due to her kidney diseases that can no longer be controlled by medicine and she would like to not do dialysis if possible, a healthy person can live with one kidney, she has been hospitalized recently to try and stabilize her, she has been approved and put on the national donor list but I need my friends and families help also to see if they are willing to get tested to give my daughter the life she deserves, To all my friends and family the number to call is [phone redacted] and option # 1 you tell them you are calling for Tiffany Sonnier to see if you will be a potential kidney match and if you don't get a live person leave message and they will call you back and ask you a few medical questions and if everything is good on that call they call you back to schedule blood work Everything is kept confidential we do not know who gets tested unless you tell us, Tiffany is 0Negative and if you can share this post so it will reach the world we would really appreciate that.. Tiffany will also be listed at MGH in Boston too, Thank you as always to my friends and family… Any questions please feel free to send me a message. You can also use this link to fill out a form
