Goal

Our team is seeking funding to bring our student thesis film, "She Sees Ghosts," to the big screen. Our goal is to raise $4,000 to cover the costs of production, including equipment rental, location fees, and post-production expenses.

About

She Sees Ghosts is an Emerson College BFA thesis film co-created by Catherine Foy and Sarina LoPresti. It tells the melancholic and bittersweet story of Diana, a college student on an extended leave of absence, after her beloved mother’s passing. This film follows her journey to accept grief, and shows the effect of losing a loved one at a chaotic time during adolescence. She Sees Ghosts aims to personify grief and the grieving process, to help an audience of those who have experienced grief feel less alone.

Budget

All proceeds will go towards funding the film and the costs associated with filmmaking, including:
Equipment Rentals
  • Production and Costume Design
  • Food for Cast and Crew
  • Transportation of Cast, Crew, and Equipment to/from Set
  • Housing for some Crew Members

She sees ghosts will be filmed from August 26th-30th in Boston, Massachusetts. It will be showcased at the Emerson College end of semester BFA screening, in late-December.
