Hi my name is Samuel, and I'm creating this fundraiser for my mom- a woman who's been through more in the last two years than most people in a lifetime.

In June of 2023, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She faced several surgeries, recovery, the loss of her job, mounting medical bills, and through it all she never stopped believing that God would carry her through.

And He did. She beat Cancer.

Just a few weeks ago on July 10, 2025 she had her final surgery. We were supposed to be celebrating the end of a painful chapter. But instead, we got another blow.

Her landlord gave her a final notice to leave her apartment by July 30.
That’s just 3 weeks after her last surgery.

And now, after surviving cancer, my mom is about to be homeless.

This Isn’t Just a Crisis. We are crying for help.

My mom has been the rock in everyone’s life including mine. She’s coached people through heartbreak, mentored women through faith, and stood by others through their storms. Even when she was reeling from her treatments she always made it a priority to help others through their struggles. And no matter how messed up she was during all her treatments she always made time for me.

But pride made her stay quiet about her own struggle. She didn’t ask for help during cancer. She believed she could just "push through."

Now, she’s going to be sleeping on couches at relatives’ homes, with no place of her own.
And I’m doing what she would never do, I’m asking for help.

We’re raising these funds to help my mom find safe, stable housing, catch up on urgent bills and medical debt, cover essentials like food, transportation, and basic needs. Overall, I just want her to be able to breathe again after a year of fighting for her life.

Whatever you can give - $10, $20, $50, or just a share- will mean the world to her, and so much to me.

Even if you can't give financially, sharing this with your friends, family, or church community could make all the difference.

I’m grateful to be finishing my last two semesters of college on campus but knowing my mom has no stable home right now is a weight on my shoulders as her only son.

If you can give anything, big or small would be deeply appreciated and you’ll be helping a woman who’s given her life to helping others.

And if you can’t donate, please share this so we can reach as many people as possible. Thank you and God bless you.
