She is a Fighter and we are going to watch her Roar!
On June 21st, 2019 Brianne’s Mom, Abby, noticed Bri was pale and lethargic. Bri had also stated she was cold, so Abby took her to Urgent Care. Brianne was tested for a number of things before they reached her diagnosis.
August 7th, Kevin’s birthday he received a call no dad ever wants to receive. Brianne his beautiful, kind hearted eleven year old daughter was diagnosed with AML – Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
This year Brianne should be starting her new school, playing her favorite sport volleyball, making new friends and doing all the things eleven year old girls do.
Instead she is spending days, nights, and weeks in the hospital going through Chemotherapy and fighting for her life.
Through all of this Brianne still puts others before herself, she was afraid she would scare her one year old cousin Jackson and five year old sister Kaylee, when she started losing her hair. Brianne also had her hair dresser come to the hospital to cut her hair so she could donate it before it she lost it all. This was not the first time this girl has donated her hair either.
Kevin an overnight truck driver and Abby a histology lab technician will have to figure out this new life. They will have to figure out how to keep a somewhat normal schedule for their five year old daughter. As well as figure out a plan to keep up with the new hospital expenses on top of the normal bills we all have…
Before Brianne could talk she would sing along every time Katy Perry would come on the radio. So Brianne and Abby decided “Roar” would be her battle cry! She is a FIGHTER! She WILL Dance through this fire! And we will all help her ROAR!
