She physically can no longer work and 4 months ago was forced to close her foot care business she built over 20 years — a business where she compassionately cared for others in her community every single day. Losing her livelihood added overwhelming financial stress/strain to an already devastating situation.

Kaarina's been seen by 30+ doctors/specialists at 6 Ontario hospitals and endured over 100+ tests (CT Scans, blood work, CAT Scans, biopsies, etc). And still no diagnosis and still no relief.

Now, her last hope lies in Cleveland, Ohio, where new specialists have accepted her case. This could be the breakthrough she desperately needs.

But the cost is overwhelming. Medical travel, testing, and treatments are all out of pocket — and she cannot do this alone.
