In February 2025, my vibrant, fashionista, workaholic mom, Priscilla, noticed her leg was suddenly swollen. What seemed like something small turned into everything. A single blood clot set off a whirlwind of scans, bloodwork, and biopsies.
By April, our world flipped—she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. Just one month later, in May, a rescan showed it had already spread to her liver. Stage 4.
Since then, she has fought with everything she has.
Just last month, my mom was walking and talking. Now, she is unable to do either.
Due to her rapid decline, our family has made the difficult decision to begin in-home hospice care, honoring her wishes to remain at home, surrounded by love and comfort.
During this incredibly painful time, we are asking for prayers—for her soul, and for our family as we prepare for the heartbreak ahead.
If you are able, we are also asking for help with final expenses, travel costs, and the loss of income for those of us who are by her side caring for her instead of working.
This has all happened so quickly, and nothing can truly prepare you for this moment.
Thank you for your love, your support, and your prayers. It truly means everything to us as we walk through this.
