I never planned to become a rescuer... it just happened.

It started with a broken old sofa in an alley opposite my house. Most people saw rubbish -- i saw tiny eyes peeking out from the shadows. Kittens. Cold, hungry, scared, and trying to survive in a place no animal should ever call home.

One by one, I brought them in. What began as a small act of kindness turned into something bigger -- i converted my garage into a safe space, a little haven filled with warmth, food and love. They're not just strays anymore. They're family.

But today, im heartbroken.

One of my rescue cats -- a sweet, gentle soul who finally learned what it means to feel safe, was lying in the garage, crying, holding her paw up in pain. I rushed to help her, hoping it was something small.. something fixable.

I called the vets, desperate for help. What I heard shattered me. They told me that without the money for treatment, the only option may be to put her to sleep. I cant accept that. Not after everything she's been through. Not after she finally found safety. She deserves a chance. She deserves to heal. She deserves to live.

I've done everything I can to help these animals, but right now. I cant do this alone.
