A Faculty Instructor at a Nursing College.
A Nurse at a Labor & Delivery Unit.
A mother to 2 beautiful daughters.
A loving partner to her husband.
A Preceptor to many new nurses.
…but most importantly, she is a FIGHTER! And she needs every single one of you to join her in this fight to WIN!
On Aug 28th, Shannon had a colonoscopy that found a 2-inch mass, and the biopsy did show adenocarcinoma. Unfortunately, imaging has shown that it has, in fact, spread to her liver, lung, and a spot in the abdominal cavity.
As a Nurse Preceptor, Shannon has shaped many nurses, and her legacy continues as each of us walks in her footsteps.
Shannon is a loving wife and mom to two beautiful girls. Shannon has been there for all her patients and students every step of the journey from being a student to becoming a licensed nurse. It’s time we are there for Shannon. And we need YOUR help and support on this journey!
