For nearly 20 years, Marcia Love-Bowens has been a bright light for children battling cancer.

As a CNA, Marcia didn’t just provide care — she brought joy. With her dancing, jokes, and playful spirit, she helped ease fear and pain for hundreds of children during the hardest moments of their young lives. Families often say she became part of their child’s healing — and part of their family.

Now, the caregiver needs care.

Marcia recently suffered a stroke and is currently hospitalized, facing serious health challenges of her own. After spending two decades standing beside children and families in their darkest hours, she is now on a difficult road to recovery.
