On August 24, 2025, our family’s life was forever changed by an unimaginable tragedy in McDonough, Georgia. We lost our beloved mother Tarsha far too soon, and now we’re facing another heartbreaking reality: the home she poured her entire life into is at risk.
My mom was the heart and foundation of our family. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters and a loving grandmother to her two precious grandchildren who adored her more than anything. She was a loving, hardworking woman who poured her entire life into creating stability and opportunity for her family and community. Striving for personal excellence was a cornerstone of her personality, and she worked tirelessly to uplift and inspire everyone around her. Everything she did, every sacrifice she made, was for her family.
Now, in the aftermath of this tragedy, we’re facing an overwhelming challenge: without a will, life insurance, or other financial protections, we are at real risk of losing her home; the very foundation she fought so hard to protect.
This fundraiser is our way of honoring her memory and securing the future she envisioned for us.
How Your Support Will Help
Every contribution will go directly toward:
Covering the mortgage and property expenses to prevent foreclosure
Paying property taxes and essential upkeep
Preserving the home and assets she worked so hard to maintain
Our goal is to keep my mother’s dream alive by protecting the home she built with such love and determination, so it can continue to serve as a safe and stable place for her children and grandchildren.
We are humbled by the outpouring of prayers and support from our community. On Monday evening, neighbors even gathered for a vigil near the subdivision mailboxes to honor my mother’s memory and stand together during this painful time. That love has meant everything to us, and we are deeply grateful.
If you feel moved to contribute, share, or simply keep us in your prayers, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity will help ensure that my mother’s sacrifices were not in vain and that her legacy lives on for generations to come.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support.
