Shayne L. Fields Home Going Celebration

Dear Friends and Family,

We are devastated by the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved Shayne Fields on Sunday, August 29, 2021, in Hawaii. Shayne was known to be a wonderful son, brother, father and friend, who touched the lives of those around him. Shayne leaves to mourn his mother, Carol Montaque; sisters, Shannen Fields and Karissa Montaque; brothers, Kareve Montaque and Evron Montaque. Children Shania, Preston and Hope Fields and a host of family and friends.

Shayne dedicated his life to helping others. He was fun, loving, caring, energetic, spontaneous, and determined. He had the biggest heart ever! He never allowed anyone’s short coming to upset him. He never hung up the phone without saying “I Love You”.

He had a smile and infectious laugh that was contagious and lit up the room. He had a charismatic personality and made friends anywhere he went. He was brilliant and creative. For almost 4 months he lived the life in Hawaii that anyone would dream of. He was free and happy and would always tell his mom that he has finally found peace. He died doing what he loved to do which was being adventurous and free!

Shayne’s untimely passing has left his family shocked, devastated with uncontrollable grief along with being unprepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Shayne the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. Shayne’s body is still in Hawaii, and we need to bring him home!
