Shayli Fry & Belinda Linton Memorial Support Fund

Hi, my name is Mariah and I am the aunt of our sweet Shayli. I created this gofundme to help support her family during this time. As some of you may know, we lost our Shayli Monday, 04-29-2024 at 7:48pm. On Sunday, while everyone was preparing for her brother and sister's birthday party, one of Shayli's lungs collapsed. Her dad, Keith, performed CPR until the paramedics arrived. She was later lifeflighted to TMH. Despite all life saving measurements, Shayli was gone. All of the tests showed there was no brain activity. Her parents had to make the choice that no parent should ever have to make and now we are facing the days that lie ahead. Belinda and Keith went from planning a birthday party to now planning a funeral for their oldest child. The twins were even saving their presents to open for when their big sister got to come home.

Shayli is the oldest (12) out of their family of 6. Shayli now watches over her dad Keith and mom Belinda, brother Carsen, and sister Nakya, and her baby sister Chasalynn.

Shayli was our mermaid loving, fashionista. She loved having girls days with her mom and sisters. Shayli wanted to be a fashion designer when she grew up. Shayli was the light of our lives, and her leaving us so soon will forever leave a void in our lives. We love you Shayli and will always cherish the memories we shared with you.

As I have said before, no parent should have to bury their child. Shayli will be cremated and her family will have a celebration of life. Shayli did not have life insurance. As Shayli's aunt, I am asking anyone and everyone who would like to donate to support her family through this terrible time, it would be a blessing. The money will go to help support the family through this tragic time. Not everyone has a family to support them, but through love and community, we can come together and show our love and care for Shayli and her family. Sometime Monday night/Tuesday morning, one week after losing Shayli, Belinda, Shayli's mom passed away in her sleep. Keith woke up to get ready for work and before he left, he went to tell her bye and found her unresponsive. She was gone. As of right now, we are unsure of her cause of death but we are sure it was of natural causes. Those of us that knew Belinda will always remember her for her big heart, her sense of humor, and her love for her family & friends. Belinda would help anyone and everyone. She loved planning events between birthday parties and get togethers. Belinda was also an animal lover. Be owned a zoo and loved to take care of her animals and even those in need too. Like her daughters, Belinda loved her girls days, between doing hair and nails to dressing up and make up. As tragic as this is, we can find some comfort knowing Shayli and her mom are reunited together.
