My name is Charlotte Naess, and I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend, Prisca Sonia Cooper, who has tragically lost her beloved son, Shayan Denzel Cooper, at just 24 years old.

Shayan was a wonderful young man with a beautiful heart and a promising future ahead of him. He was kind, loving, caring and ambitious. Having completed his education, he was building his career and beginning to spread his wings.

His family was incredibly proud of the man he had become and looked forward to celebrating many more milestones with him.

Tragically, while riding his motorbike home, Shayan was struck by another vehicle and lost his life at the scene.

One moment, a mother had her son. The next, her world had changed forever.

For Prisca and her family, the pain is unimaginable. Instead of watching her son fulfil his dreams, she is now faced with the heartbreaking task of arranging his funeral.

No mother prepares for this. No mother should have to.
