Support 19-year-old Shawq's Fight for Survival in Gaza

Hello, my name is Noah (Brooklyn, NY) and I am fundraising for a close friend who is struggling to survive in southern Gaza right now. I will let her tell her own story:

I am just an Arab girl from Gaza. My name is Shawq. I am 19 years old. My dream was to join university, but my dream was destroyed because of the war on Gaza. We were exposed to injustice and were displaced from our homes for many months. My house was destroyed and I am alone and separated from my family. They are besieged in the north and I am in the south and no one takes care of me. I suffer from malnutrition due to the difficulty of obtaining food. Food, water, and the basics of life to keep me alive. I ask you to support me and donate to me to keep me alive.

My friend is kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and one of the strongest people I know. No matter what happens, no matter how many bombs were dropped that day or how close they were, no matter what trauma and chaos she endured, she always asks me how I am doing. She has a passion for learning and I know that one day when she is able she will excel in university. Shawq reminds me every day of the courage, determination, and hope that we need to have in this collective fight.

Any money you give will go towards a young girl on her own being able to access water, food, and necessities that most of us take for granted. If that isn't a good cause, I don't know what is.
