R.I.P. Shawn Myers…. You are so very loved

Our hearts are heavy as we share the news of the passing of my beloved brother, Shawn Myers. Our family is devastated by this sudden, unexpected loss, but we get comfort that he did not suffer as he passed away in his sleep on 2/27/23 with his sweetheart by his side as our mom put it.

The pain of losing my brother is excruciating, but the pain of losing a son is unimaginable! Although it is difficult, Kim, my parents and I find comfort in reading though all the posts and comments about him. He was truly an amazing man with a heart of gold who enjoyed helping anyone and everyone that he could (as long as it was after 3pm… lol). We had no idea how many hearts he touched as one friend stated “his bar family is massive”. We don’t know all of you personally but would like to thank you for your kind words and sharing your pictures of him.

We will be having a memorial service, but the date and details aren’t set yet. Many people asked about a go fund me, so I decided to make this to help our family cover end of life fees and memorial costs. We know that Shawn touched the lives of so many people and we are grateful for any amount you can donate to help us give him a proper farewell.
