On June 13th, what Shawn thought was going to be a normal workday turned out to possibly change his life forever. While cutting down trees, Shawn was involved in a traumatic accident that has left him unable to work for the past 8 weeks. The chainsaw that he was working with kicked back and took a large portion of his tricep, tendon, and muscle out of his right arm. He rushed to the hospital immediately where he underwent a small surgery in hopes of repairing the damage done. Unfortunately, he has sustained a more severe injury than originally thought leaving him without feeling or movement of his right hand, fingers, and lower arm. Currently, he is looking at having a more extensive surgery that still has a slim chance of repairing the damage. The surgery is set to take place within the next two weeks and will involve a lot of physical therapy. He has a family of 4 children and a wife that has been left to take on the whole financial strain of the family. His recovery will be extensive, and he may not regain the feeling to his arm for 3-4 years. If you would like to donate to help our family with cost of living, surgery, and provide for the children ranging from 2-14 years of age it will be greatly appreciated.
