Shawn Keenan Memorial Fund

We are the close friends of the Keenan-Thomas family.  Shawn Keenan passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the age of 35. He leaves behind the love of his life, Kelly Thomas, and thier 3 children - Joey (15), Riley (12), and Bailey (2).

We have started this Go Fund for Kelly and her children to hopefully ease her financial burdens in these next tough months ahead.  Kelly was unexpectedly laid off last year from her job of 12 years shortly after the birth of their youngest daughter, Bailey.  Kelly is currently attending nursing school during the day and waitressing at night to support her family.   She decided to attend nursing school in order to guarantee a more secure career to support her family.  Without the loving support of Shawn,  juggling work and school while caring for her family will be extremely difficult.  Anyone who knows Kelly knows she would never ask for anything from anyone....but as her close friends, we know she would be ever grateful for your support.  Kelly has been a dedicated partner, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all those that have been lucky enough to be in her circle, and now it is our time to come together and return the kindness and love. 

We know Shawn would be happy knowing that Kel and the kids were taken care of during this time of mourning and healing.  Shawn Keenan, You, and all those affected by your passing, will forever be in our thoughts and our prayers.
