Hello, my name is Shawna, and I am asking for donations so that I can participate in a global direct action to support P@lestine called The March to G@z@. I have been participating in protests, boycotts, spreading the word, baring witness to the atrocities/war crimes that are committed by Isr@el, calling and writing my congress members, and supporting people currently living in G@z@. Isr@elhas been committing these atrocities for years, but since the middle of March 2025, their war crimes have escalated with Isr@el blocking the borders preventing any aid (food, water, medical supplies, etc.) from entering G@z@. It has been almost 3 months of Isr@el preventing any aid from entering, and they have now created a corrupt “aid distribution” system that is killing people. Because Isr@el has escalated their cruelty and genocidal actions, I feel the call to escalate my participation in the movement to free P@lestine, and open the crossings to allow aid in. That is why I would like to participate in The March to G@z@. If I am able to raise enough money, I will be flying to Egypt, staying in Cairo for a couple days, and then walking from Cairo to the R@f@h border between Egypt and P@lestine. The trip from Cairo to R@f@h takes about 4-5 hours by car, so this will be a very difficult journey. We will be walking all day for a few days in a row, and camping out along the way. When we get to the border, organizers will speak with leadership from both Egypt and Isr@el, and try to convince them to open the crossing to allow aid into G@z@. The March to G@z@ is a peaceful show of global support, and to visibly show that the majority of people in the world, stand with P@lestine.

In order to go, I will need to raise enough money to buy a plane ticket to Egypt, a hotel room for several days, camping things, appropriate clothes/shoes, food, water, etc. Any donations, no matter the size, helps me take this action, and fulfill my need to do more to show up and support the people of P@lestine. What’s happening in P@lestine is unacceptable, and I can’t sit by and continue to see the completely black, charred bodies of dead children, being pulled from rubble due to Isr@eli air strikes. I can no longer tolerate children being systematically targeted and slaughtered by Isr@el, with my tax dollars. I can no longer see thousands of children with amputations, sometimes without anesthesia (really, can you even imagine that fate for anyone, let alone a child?!).
