Diagnosed November 10,2017
No family history
BRCA- negative
Stage 3; ER Positive, Her 2 Negative
11 Surgeries- including bilateral mastectomy and lymph node removal
6 rounds of chemo- 3 different chemo drugs
28 radiation sessions

Diagnosed again July, 2020- stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that had spread to the bones
Went to the hospital with rib pain
X-ray noted a broken rib with a lesion consistent with metastatic disease
Further testing revealed the cancer had returned and was noted in left hip, left shoulder, 4 ribs, 2 vertebrae, and 2 places in the skull
Underwent a complete hysterectomy to slow the production of estrogen and force menopause
Currently taking a chemo pill and hormone blocker
Receive infusions every 12 weeks to strengthen bones- prone to spontaneous bone fractures
Survival rate passed 5 years is 20 percent.
