Hello, my name is Kenneth Tache Jr. My mother has recently passed. Her name was Shawna Rae Light. Shawna was a hero that saved my niece from drowning. Shawna was a loving mother and, most of all, a loving grandmother.

Shawna always said, "I love my family and I’m a mama bear." Shawna put her life on the line to save my niece from drowning at a lake in Farmington, NM. Her heart stopped twice, and CPR was performed. On August 24, 2025, Shawna passed away from heart complications.
