My son Shawn Potoka has had a Workman’s Compensation injury 2 years ago. He has been fighting this injury for this duration. He has been forced to find work each time WC stops paying, to support his family. When he is allowed to work, by the perimeters of his foot, he has won many rewards, even a trip to Disney.  Therefore showing you he is a hard worker.  The physicality of the job catches up to him causing his foot to blow up like a balloon.  He ran out of Medical leave, Health Insurance and just lost his last job on Thursday.   MRI and white blood cell Scan indicate he may have a bone infection.  He was scheduled for bone biopsy on Monday 4/8/19, but was cancelled by WC, refusing to pay. He was hoping bone biopsy would determine the root of the problem so he could get resolution and jump back into work force. This is not the first WC denial, crutches, medications, pay for being off due to foot restrictions.  The list goes on and on. His credit score has plummeted due to WC not paying for previous surgeries. 
  His wife, Robin works as a Vet Tech and can pay for some bills, but rent at his home in Kentucky is a $1000 a month for him and family. They can not pay their rent at this time, but his landlord is being understanding for now.  He needs help from family and friends so he can get his surgery, resolve foot problem and GO BACK TO WORK, PERMANENTLY.
