Hi my name is Shawn . I am currently fighting breast cancer. Asking for financial help is not an easy task for me . Setting my pride aside , I am reaching out because the burden of medical expenses related to breast cancer testing, surgery, treatments, and travel expenses has become difficult for our family.

Even with medical insurance the remaining cost is overwhelming.

I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer on June 13,2024. The past 6 months has been overwhelming emotionally and financially draining on our family . I have had several doctors appointments for multiple tests in Redding and even traveled to Sacramento for an MRI.

On October 3, 2024 I had breast cancer surgery (lumpectomy) . Thankfully this surgery went well. Radiation is required and possibly Chemotherapy. I am starting radiation treatments on October 30th and will continue daily for several weeks . My husband will drive me to and from Redding for my daily treatments.

I am humbling asking for help with the cost . Any amount is appreciated. We appreciate prayers as well for save travel and healing.

This cancer journey of mine has been difficult on my family. Our 13 year old daughter has been so strong throughout all the challenges cancer life has gave us. Since my diagnosis of cancer my husband has been by my side through it all. Additionally, am so blessed to have a huge support team of friends/family through this roller coast of emotions. Also my strong faith in God has got me through it.
