Hi everyone,

My sisters and I are reaching out to you today with a plea for help. Our brother-in-law, Shawn, is facing a liver and kidney transplant, and we’ve created this page to support him and our sister, Kara, during this incredibly challenging time.

Shawn became our brother when he married Kara in 2012, and has always been there for us. He’s a loving husband to Kara, a doting cat-dad to Indigo, and a darling dog-dad to Zen. Over the years, he has always been a sounding board for us, offering his advice and acting as a true brother.

After a difficult year of illness, Shawn has finally received the life-saving organ donations he needed. While this is a moment of immense hope, the financial challenges ahead are overwhelming. Between significant medical expenses, travel costs, and extensive aftercare, the burden is simply too much for them to carry alone.

With Shawn unable to work and Kara taking on the role of full-time caregiver, we're asking for your support to help ease their financial stress.
