Hi, My name is Megan Carey and I want to tell you about my beautiful nephew Shawn we lost him yesterday on March 29, 2023. Shawn went to sleep and never woke up my heart is so broken for my sister Dawn which is Shawn’s mother and my family. My nephew Shawn was the oldest out of all of our kids he was my nephew but more like my little brother with him only being 9 years younger than myself. Shawn leaves behind 4 beautiful sons, 3 beautiful daughters, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and his fiancé and so many other family members that loved and adored him. Shawn would have been 35 this coming May 10th. Shawn was a writer he had some of the most beautiful and heart breaking poems you will ever hear, he loved his kids and family very much. Shawn always had funny stories to tell and real life struggles he was a precious soul that I know was to good for this world. He didn’t have life insurance because who would think at such a young age we have to think about death and having to worry about money for a funeral when you should be here so much longer then only 35 years. I am asking anyone and everyone that can help us give my beautiful nephew the funeral that he deserves and to lay him to rest with the lord. God bless everyone and may all of you be protected and loved like we love Shawn. All funds that are raised will be put towards Shawn’s funeral and the rest given to his children!
