Shawn Carmichael

Hi everyone, we’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of Shawn Carmichael. For those who know Shawn, we can all agree that his energy is infectious, and he’s positively impacted anyone he has come into contact with! He loves to interact with people and make people smile; he is the epitome of total “people person” which is a testament to why he has been a flight instructor with iFLY for 15+ years (longer then Randy!).  We want to highlight the insanely funny, kind, and considerate person he is. He always puts everyone's needs ahead of his own and never shows frustration. His love for his family and friends (and movies) is endless and unconditional.

Recently, Shawn, 45 years young was diagnosed with liver and kidney failure. He has been fighting for over a month and continues to fight every day. Shawn, being strong willed and courageous, faces the truth and acceptes the reality he now lives, and started his fight. It has been an uphill battle and is determined to fight it with everything he’s got! Since his diagnosis, he has been overwhelmed with endless medical tests, imaging, and treatment.

Now due to his debilitating illness, he has been unable to work and will likely not be able to for an extended length of time.. As it were, insurance does not cover all of the ever mounting bills.

We need everyone’s help! Let’s show Shawn some love and help him fight this battle.

The time is now for us to be here for Shawn, pull together, send all of our positive energy, thoughts, love, and prayers to Shawn as he continues his fight. While we do realize the current times we live in, bills are piling up for Shawn and his family so any donations to assist with hospital bills will help.
