Shawn suffered a stroke on March 9, 2019.  He’s currently at the Renown Rehabilitation Hospital in Reno, Nevada.  He’s expected to be there for the next six weeks working hard on his comeback. 

These funds will help Shawn’s battle in his long recovery process and provide much needed financial relief to his wife Kyungbo and his two young daughters Elicia and Lucia. 

Shawn has been an integral part of the PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn family for the past 10 years.  He’s our Chef de Cuisine and our friend.  He’s a gentle giant with a sharp sense of humor, huge heart and a hardworking man.  He is a devoted husband and father and is working hard to be their rock again.
