Hi, my name is Robert and recently I received the life changing news that I was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia) a form of blood cancer. As a healthy and active 18 year old with no medical history the news came as a massive shock. Leukaemia can develop in anyone, at any age, at any time, and there are no preventative health measures, it just happens. In saying this, the reality is that it has to happen to someone, so I thought I would make the most of my situation and start this gofundme to help raise money for people who are going through a similar experience to me.

I’m so grateful for my mates who have been with me every step of the way and a group of us have all agreed to shave our heads to help push to raise money and we would all love it if you could join us on this journey.

Where the Money will go:

Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group (ALLG) Scientific Advisory Committee. ALLG is the only not-for-profit blood cancer clinical trial research group in Australia, and the work they do is amazing. Thanks to their ongoing research, part of my treatment has been developed using findings from their recent studies. Because of this, I’ve decided to raise funds for ALLG, to help support ongoing research that gives people like me and thousands of others better outcomes, better options, and more hope. The funds will be transferred to ALLG through my mothers account and then into the ALLG donation section.
