Its with deep sadness I am writing this story on behalf of the athletes of the Bahamas and the Hart’s family. A great man, athlete, son and new father lost his life just shy a few days of his 30th birthday. He’s one of the most talented, dedicated, loving, caring and funniest person you could have ever meet. He would give you the shirt off his back if so need be. He was and still is a peaceful soul. He would always try to keep situations so peaceful and light hearted. This man and awesome human is named Shavez ‘Sparkie’ Hart. Shot and killed on September 3rd 2022; being a Good Samaritan and peacemaker trying to defuse an altercation between two males on the island of Abaco,Bahamas.

in his passing Shavez left behind a wonderful and loving son who will never get to experience his father’s love and kindheartedness. He will never be able to see his father again. He won’t be able to know that he got his looks temperament or behaviors from his father first hand but only through hearsay. Also Shavez parents and siblings was left to burden all of this and funeral expenses. It’s difficult for a parent to let go of their child.

Hence why the idea of doing a go fund me was put forth, we would love to help the family alleviate some of the financial burden of this matter. Along with giving the mother of his child some funds to help with the lost of a father. Anything you can do or give will be greatly appreciated and accepted. Thank you in advance.
