On the 18th November Charl was admitted to hospital in London and diagnosed with cancer. Since, she has been challenged with many life threatening complications of which she has tackled head on and we are so incredibly proud of how strong she has been and continues to be on this fight against cancer. She bravely began chemotherapy on the 13th December. A common side effect of chemotherapy is hair loss. Charlotte has decided on New Years Day she will beat the hair loss and will be shaving her head. In solidarity, Yasmine will also be shaving her head to raise money for Cancer Research. Thanks to research, some cancers have effective treatment protocols and we hope that raising money for research will improve diagnostics and treatments for those that may face cancer in the future.
