As you may know, we lost our son, Miles, in 2015. I was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix and gave birth at 20 weeks. Miles lived for one hour but he was too little to survive. 

We now know that in order for me to have a successful, full term pregnancy in the future, I need a Transabdominal Cerclage (TAC) placed pre-pregnancy. This will keep my cervix strong and prevent it from failing. We have consulted with the very best doctor and will travel to Chicago to get the procedure in September. 

The cost of the surgery is $7,000 and while we have saved $5,000, we still have a little ways to go. We also need to cover the cost of travel expenses.
