Shaunita's fight

Our dear friend, Shaunita King, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer. Shaunita, or Ninny or Neat, has quite the fight on her hands. She is one of the most resilient, toughest and beautiful women we know, but if you know her, you know that she is not good at asking for help.

Neat will need to commence chemotherapy very soon and will be travelling back and forth to Wagga for treatment. We don’t know how this will impact Neat and if she will be able to work.

Shaunita’s time is precious and she’s going to need to focus all her strength on beating this awful disease. To help do this, we’d love to alleviate Neat’s financial burden.

Shaunita has been part of the social fabric of the Tumut community for many years - early on she may have helped you at Coles, she probably served you at The Mersh Bottleshop and lately, may have helped you out at Lucas Home Furnishings – Carpet Court. Now we’re asking for you to help her.

We understand times are tough, but if you are able to donate, please do so. We’ll be planning some fundraisers over the coming weeks/months and will update the page as soon as we are able to.
