Please help a dear friend in need. Shaunece and her sons Judah and Noah recently moved across the country from Atlanta to Seattle for a job opportunity. They love Seattle and are happy there, but haven't had time to develop a network of support.

A few months ago, while all rough housing together, Shaunece sustained an injury to her spine and ended up in the hospital where she had to undergo emergency surgery. She is still in an immense amount of pain, and rehabilitation will take many more months. Finances are tight, and several of the programs that Shaunece currently relies on are slated to be cut. We're hoping to give her a little cushion of money so that she can focus on recovery, spend time with her boys, and have the space to exhale.
